2. What are my payment options?We accept all major credit cards. For larger payments, we accept ACH which helps cut down on bank fees. You can book directly through the website and pay for your trip. If you prefer an ACH, we are easy to contact and we will provide you an invoice with our banking instructions. You can make payments as you’d like up to 90 days prior to departure.

3. Are there any discounts available?Double occupancy lessens the price by $300 per person.

4. I’m looking for a creative way to raise money for my travel. What are my options?Consider starting a GoFund me or other online fundraiser. Your trip fees are due 90 days prior to departure.

5. How do I reserve my spot?To reserve your spot, make a deposit online. The deposit amount will be listed on the trip page you select. The deposit will go against the trip total. You will receive a follow-up invoice for the remaining balance and due date. You can make payments as you see fit.

6. When do I need to pay the full amount?The full balance for the trip is due 90 days before the departure date if not otherwise stated. Payment requirements will be emailed to you once you sign up with your welcome package.

7. Cancellations refunds and transfersTransfers: When life gets in the way and you need to change your trip date. We have you covered. We allow you to transfer your trip dates. Please contact us direct to complete a transfer (customer service email). Transfers fee $150 Cancellation: The participant has the option to cancel their order by submitting a written notice according to the conditions listed below: If the cancellation is made up to 90 days before departure, the participant will receive a full refund. 89-60 days from departure, participants will receive a refund minus the original deposit amount for the trip. If the cancellation is made between 60 and 31 days before departure, the participant will forfeit 50% of the trip expense paid or the original deposit amount, whichever is higher. If the cancellation is made 30 days before departure or if the participant fails to show up, the participant will forfeit 100% of the trip expense. A 5% processing fee will be applied to all cancellation refund transactions.

8. How do I stay up to date with trip updates?Once signed up we will begin emailing you everything you need to know as your trip approaches. We are also here to answer any questions you may have when they come up, so feel free to contact us directly at team@expeditionglobal.com.

9. What do I do when I land?Don't worry, our in-country chaperone team has your flight details and is waiting for at the airport.

10. How do I connect with the in-country chaperone team?We communicate via WhatsApp in country. We will send you a link to your trip group chat.

11. What should I bring to wear?You will receive an email form our trip prep team giving you guidance on the correct attire to bring on your trip.

12. What donation items should I bring?We are glad you are thinking about this. You will receive an email from our trip pre-team listing all of the suggested donation items.

13. Can I get a discount if I refer you, travelers?We encourage you to invite your friends and yes we offer discounts and credits for the support. Email us at team@expeditionglobal.com.

14. Where do I get the trip pictures?They will be available in your group’s trip folder after the trip too.

15. What if I have food allergies, or special conditions, or special medical needs?We can accommodate. Included in the trip prep emails, will be an opportunity for you to identify to our team any special requirements you may have. Please make sure you let us know ahead of time. Also, we always advise travelers to come prepared with transportable snacks they know they like- just in case you don’t want the local cuisine.

16. Are there service opportunities for kids?Absolutely! All are welcome. Kids Ages X and up are welcome to come and serve. When you sign up for a trip we will catalog the travelers in your group and tailor the trip to fit the skill levels and abilities for everyone. Most kids make friends with kids their age in the village and have a great time!

17. What if I have special skills for the outreach project?We want to know about them. Please email us direct and if we can incorporate you special skills into the outreach project we will! We love to bring business owners, medical workers, builders, teachers, influencers and more!

18. What if I want to donate additional money to the non-profit partners?Yes, here are the links to the non-profits we love and partner with Global Education Philanthropists. if you’d like to have a donation directly to the in-country non-profit, note that in your donation to Global E.P. For example, our Belize nonprofit partner is Kabod International. In your donation to charity at globalep.org put Kabod International in the memo line.
